Abbé Libansky

Abbé Libansky is a professional on borders and intersections. Crossing the czech one towards the west as a political emigrant in 1978 he realized several installations referring to the border as political, cultural and metaphorical barrier. Within this projects he elaborated his own artistic vocabulary to examine the transitions Europe had to face in the last twenty years. For ATLANTIS, Abbé Libansky installs a monumental 3D-graph, showing the resurrection of former communist parties in the eastern part of Europe.
